Michael McGovern

Michael McGovern is a wildlife photographer, conservationist, and storyteller whose work reached more than 250 million people last year. He’s contributed photography to National Geographic — most recently on a feature about the last Asiatic lions of Gir National Park — and co-founded Big Cat Voices, a nonprofit advancing conservation through world-class journalism, science, and media. He studied at Dartmouth College, worked on conservation strategy at McKinsey, led content strategy at MrBeast, and is graduating from Stanford GSB in 2026.
