If you’ve seen a recent adventure of mine and want to take it on yourself, you’ve landed on the right page. This is where I try to help you bring your adventures to life.

Below you’ll find both general wildlife advice I’ve collected over the years and specific recommendations for tour operators from my recent expeditions.

Method

Trip planning philosophy.

I typically start by anchoring on one of three things — an animal, a place, or a time of year. Once one is locked in, the other two start to narrow. Pick a polar bear and you’re already down to a handful of places and a window of weeks.

For example:

Calendar

The wildlife calendar.
